Lifeline- Right to Life of Northwest, IN

On Saturday, November 14th, Right to Life of Northwest Indiana will host Ambassadors for Life, a pro-life apologetics workshop, from 9:00am until noon at Queen of All Saints Legacy Center, Michigan City, IN (map below.) Two levels of training will be offered this year, each designed to equip pro-life ambassadors to communicate the pro-life message confidently and graciously without the need of vitriol or angry dialogue.

Pro-Life Apologetics 101 will help first-time attendees simplify the abortion debate by answering two crucial questions, What are the preborn? & What makes humans valuable? You’ll learn to make the case for life and refute logical fallacies of pro-choice rhetoric in a compelling manner. This class will be taught by Mike Spencer of Project LifeVoice. Mike also served as a pastor for 23 years before founding Project LifeVoice. He is a gifted and much sought-after communicator who brings a pastor’s heart to the often emotional and divisive issue of abortion in a way that is both gracious and compelling.

Pro-Life Apologetics 201 is designed to equip second-year attendees in advanced pro-life arguments. This track equips students to engage one of the most common philosophical arguments for abortion: bodily autonomy. Participants will explore the deeper battle of ideas behind the abortion debate by examining competing views of human value – the Substance View vs. the Functionalist View. Students will learn why these competing frameworks lead to very different conclusions about abortion and human rights, and they will be trained to thoughtfully challenge common pro-choice arguments while defending the value of every human being.

To register for this event (the cost is $20.00, continental breakfast and lunch provided) please email: right2lifenwi@gmail.com or register below:

Update From Our Annual Fall Banquet

On Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, Right to Life Northwest Indiana (RTLNWI) held its annual Fall Banquet at Trinity Hall in Chesterton, Ind. An evening filled with food, fellowship, prayer and a guest speaker lifted up the spirits of many. RTLNWI was privileged to have Lydia Taylor Davis from Students for Life USA come speak on her testimonies of saving lives, changing hearts and basic interactions. This event was incredibly impactful – not only because of the great testimony – but the encouragement of all present to continue the mission in protecting life.

Those who attended the banquet shared the aspects of Davis’ presentation that they found most impactful.

Caroline Cannon, who works with Students for Life at Joliet College, said she especially appreciated Davis’ story about the boy of the church. “I really enjoyed her story about the boy of the church. I thought it was really impactful to see it related to the horrors of Nazi Germany to today in the pro-abortion movement.”

Shauna McCartry, also from Joliet College, highlighted a message of faith and courage that resonated with her: “Even if you don’t have the bravery and the courage, God still can use you.”

Davis also shared how her involvement with Students for Life began during her college years. “I started speaking at my own college as well as other colleges and at high schools. It started really small, but my passion grew. I saw how desperately young people needed the pro-life movement.”

Other attendees reflected on what they learned from the presentation. Isaiah Martin shared, “I had been aware of the evils of the abortion pill, but I did not know how bad it has gotten the past so many months.”

Anthony Bondi Jr. also emphasized the presence of young people in the pro-life movement, stating, “We have a lot of Gen Z that is pro-life.” We have a bright future.

From Live Action: Please join us in prayer for our nation and for a culture of life.

Heavenly Father, we lift up our nation to You. We repent of the way we have allowed a culture of death to take root in our society. Forgive us, Father.

Open the eyes of our neighbors, our family, our friends, and our leaders – both spiritual and governmental. Turn our hearts back to You, and create in our nation a culture that rejects all forms of abortion and that embraces life.

May Your Name be glorified and Your precious preborn babies defended. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
