Big Pro-Life Win With Costco!
Costco decides to refrain from selling the abortion pill (Mifepristone)
According to a report from Bloomberg News, Costco Wholesale has said it will not dispense the abortion pill (mifepristone 200mg) at its more than 500 pharmacy locations.
Bloomberg stated in its report: “Costco Wholesale Corp. has decided not to dispense the abortion pill mifepristone at its more than 500 pharmacy locations, a decision hailed by a group of faith-based activists and investors who urged the retailer to avoid selling the drug.”
Last year, your AFA joined with other faith-based organizations and shareholders in urging Costco to refuse to offer chemical abortion drugs at their pharmacies. In a letter to Costco, AFA and others wrote, “Mifepristone terminates life and does so in ways that the FDA acknowledges risk serious harm to the mother … It is also wholly unnecessary to your business.”
This is a huge victory for unborn children and for the pro-life movement! It happened because of your prayers and support for the work of American Family Association, and because God moved in the hearts of the leadership at Costco to make this decision.
Let’s keep praying that more companies will follow Costco’s lead!

The woman, whom Texas Right to Life called Tania to protect her privacy, had contacted an abortion fund, one of many operating inside and outside the state, according to the organization. The group paid for her to travel out of Texas, where abortion is illegal, stay in a hotel, and for her abortion pill. Read more here.
